MEE Audio M6 Pro IEM

An Opinion on MEE Audio M6 Pro IEM

I should caveat this with what I’m used to first; Sennheiser HD25-II Professional headphones (the benchmark for all my listening both music and pro sound). Ultimate Ears Triple Fi 10, for when I don’t have the option of the HD25-II’s.

My Ultimate Ears are wearing out and using them regularly for work, prompted me to get the M6 Pro’s because of the price and the hype surrounding them.

I don’t know about breaking in modern cans, however, I did run these through 12-18db of non & oscillating pink noise for 100 hours before proper use, and I will say that they did sound more full after the break in.

I have had them for a month now and can honestly say that they completely suck for any kind of environmental noise isolation, even using custom ear pieces and the Comply tips included. Whatever it is about the construction, everything gets in and muddies the sound.

If I’m to break down sound into 5 categories from deep bass through to high treble, rated 5-1, these cans provide crisp clean clear high treble 1,2,3 and a fraction of 4.
Yes, this is great for studio work, and other quiet areas, but to get any bass to feed through, one tends to increase gain or volume, and then the treble is so piercing that it makes for an uncomfortable listening experience.

For $50 is it worth the price to get them and have them for a few weeks trial period. Probably not. $50 is 1/3-1/4 the price of the things you are going to pay to get you to where you wanted to be originally.

If I had known then what I know now, Id prefer the $50 and opted for a different pair of IEMs.

I’ve had my #SonyA6300 for ten days now, and can honestly say that it’s right up there with the most satisfying cameras I’ve ever owned. So much so, that I’m seriously considering tasting in my #A6000 for another one. It’s kind of kindling that I can have a full interview kit of two camera’s 6 lenses (sony, 16, 20, 24z, zoom with oss, and two adapted #Pentax #Takumar cine) plus redundant production audio rigs, with three mics #Tekkeon batteries, and more all on my old #Lowepro Omni Traveler. I guess the future is now. I can even fit a laptop in there too if I wanted, but I use an iPad mini for most of that stuff now. LED rim lights are next. #devtank #documentaryphotography #documentary #gear #Streetshooter #Seattle #flickr Instagram

Inner Strength On the Streets.

I love and respect all of the people I photograph on the streets. I see you, and I see you in the fragmented moments when you are off guard, unaware, and existing in the space between consciousness and biology.
To my heroes, my street loves; my respect, always.

I simply cannot get over how robust and powerful this man is. So young and so beaten by life. He lost his leg, something to do with rotting bone from an infected wound.

A man climbed up to the top of the city center ornamental Sequoia, flanked by a small army of medics, police and fire services, some streets were blocked off for the 25 hour period.
Ive seen this gentleman, on a daily basis since I have been living here, 12 years. I have watched him slow down and degenerate from a feisty outspoken veteran in full military fatigues, to a feisty challenger of old age. He is the personification of defiance. I dont know him, but I love him for his strength.
I love the parallel of primal mothering in a modern civic environment.
She came up to me on the street and showed me the pictures she had taken with her phone. Quite astounding actually. A real sense of aesthetic, indicating a book far larger then its cover conveys.
