These images are the fruits of a recent shoot I did for a startup company which is a joint venture between a couple of creative guys and some money guys. The idea is that this non commissioned nuclear powerplant is to be transformed from an embarressing blot on the landscape to a multimedia venue. Its not until you get inside this thing that you realise the awesome potential the structure and the location holds.

The physics behind the structure [which is a cooling stack used in the production of energy from nuclear fission], is that sound travels up the walls and at a certain point is bounced inwards thus reverberating against itself. Slamming a car door, sounds like a clap of thunder in very close proximity.

Personally, the job has to be one of the best things I have ever done, even just from an awe perspective. It was an extremely enjoyable job to shoot and edit.
