Theres a big shitfight going on over the location of the Kingsford Smith Airport in Sydney. Currently, most flights pass directly over the southern neighbourhoods, and over the last 30 years, the authorities have been denying developers from re-zoning these areas into better places to live thus forcing low income families into the area. Zetland is one of the last hills on approach to the main runways, most dwellings have collapsed, making this place look like an urban war zone. Everything is coated with a fine layer of Kerosene & Rubber from the approaching airliners, which is causing untold health problems.
